I made the quick trip up I-35 to cover SXSW Interactive, the technology portion of the annual festival in Austin. I’ve attended SXSW before—officially for the past two years for the Interactive portion and unofficially in years past for the Music segment (namely hanging out in alleys and doorways to hear some up-and-coming artists).
This year is interesting because there’s a bent towards food and technology at Interactive that I wanted to cover. So over the course of the next few days, you may notice the SA Flavor Twitter, Facebook and Instagram page along with my personal Twitter account talk a little more about technology and have lots of pictures from Austin. Tune in if you’re interested. And if you’re not I promise I’ll be back in San Antonio before you know it, so don’t unfollow me, it’s only temporary!
How are we going to kick things off? With a video from a Taco Meet Up of course! I was impressed by the variety of tacos that they had at this event. My two favorites was the beef fajita from Habanero Mexican Cafe and this fantastic turkey mole from Papalote. At any rate, I hope you enjoy the video and I look forward to bringing you more SXSW coverage!
