There’s a slideshow at the bottom of the post!
This past weekend, eight Instagrammers joined me at The Friendly Spot for the bi-monthly San Antonio Neighborhood Instameet. After getting a morning brew, folks left the outdoor patio to explore some of the quirky spots of the King William Neighborhood.
With the Blue Star Arts complex being on the edge of the neighborhood, King William is one of the more artistic an funky areas in town. Many photos showcased paintings, art and houses.
Additionally, there are many neighborhood restaurants in the area, including Tito’s (my favorite enchilada spot), that have unique or repurposed old signs. Some of the Instagrammers stopped by Mad Hatter’s to take some photos… of the mimosas they were drinking.
The Instameet was an excellent time to get to explore the neighborhood, take photographs and get to meet new people. If you are curious about upcoming neighborhood Instameets, be sure to check the Meetup page for future events. In the meantime, check out the slideshow for the photos from the day!
Special thanks to The Friendly Spot and Printstagram for sponsoring prizes for this Instameet!
