To end this post, I got to see two uniquely Portland things. The first the Oregon Brewer’s Festival, an event that happens each year on the last weekend of July. As far as I could gather, this was sort of Portland’s version of Oktoberfest.

…to get beer like this. Many Oregon breweries were in attendance, but there were also craft brews from around the country as well.
The last stop I wanted to mention was at the Urban Farm Store.
This is the go to place for anything you need for a chickens…
…or even that backyard goat.
